What’s the difference between Sublimation and other methods?

Where Vinyl and DTG use paint or vinyl to lie on top of the fabrics, Sublimation uses high heat temperatures to turn a special ink into a gas.  That  gas then binds with the polyester fabric resulting in a finish that cannot be felt.  Sublimation will not fade, crack or peel, but can only be used to decorate light colored garments.
